Other Ways of Giving
The Coalition is proud to be a member
organization of Art Philanthropy, an organization that sells art through
its website and contributes 25% of all proceeds to member nonprofit
organizations. Individuals can purchase art through the group
and designate the Coalition as a grant recipient. Art Philanthropy started
as a project of the University of California–Berkeley and Emory University
by a group of colleagues with a mutual interest in the world of art
and nonprofits.
Visit the Art Philanthropy website today to purchase art and contribute
directly to our work!
Ebay has developed a program called
Mission Fish. It encourages eBay sellers to donate a portion of their
profits to a nonprofit organization of their choice. Beverly Affordable
Housing Coalition, Inc. has joined this wonderful program.
Here's how it works: Once you decide to sell an item on eBay, you can
donate a percentage of the profit by choosing Beverly Affordable Housing
Coalition, Inc. from a list of registered charities. It's easy and quick—and your donation is 100% tax deductible.

Other ways to contribute to the
Coalition’s work:
Estate Program: Make the Coalition a beneficiary of your will or of a life insurance
policy. This can be a separate policy to benefit the organization, a
contingent beneficiary, or a partial beneficiary. Contact
the Coalition for details.
Real Estate Program: Donate your land or real estate to the Coalition so that we
can deed the property as affordable housing or construct additional
housing. By doing this, you may become eligible for significant tax advantages.
Many of our past projects evolved out of partnerships with private individuals
who believed in our mission and wanted to work with us.
Planned Giving: Planned giving is a great way to contribute annually to the Coalition’s
work. Consult the Coalition
and your tax professional for additional information on how this could
provide substantial financial benefits to the donor.
Matching Programs: Considering a donation to the Coalition? Double it! Contact
your employer’s Human Resources department to find out if they
offer a matching program for gifts to nonprofit charity organizations
like the Coalition.
Stock: A
gift of stock can yield a significant tax savings for many donors.Contact
the Coalition or your tax professional for additional information.
Major Donations: Foundations and individuals have contributed generously to
the Coalition in the past. Donors may contribute to the general operations
of our organization or to a particular project or program. Contact
the Coalition for information of current sponsorship or investment
opportunities.
Wish List:
Another great way to contribute
to the Coalition is to help us check off items on our Wish List. This
list includes items for the organization’s operations, as well
as household items for our properties. Past donations have included
file cabinets, office furniture, new appliances for properties, and
landscaping materials to make our properties even more attractive!
You can also contribute items for our annual auction.
